Purpose
We use data submitted in the volunteer form to review applications, respond and organise volunteering. We do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
We process requests to respond to applicants (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), where applicable). Other processing requires a documented legal basis. Acknowledging the notice is not marketing consent.
Data collected
Name, email, availability and preferred area are requested; phone, preferred start date, interests and message are optional. Please do not submit health, religion or other sensitive data.
Suppliers and international transfers
The form uses Formspree, and submissions may reach the association by email. Processing in the United States may occur; the association must verify its agreement and safeguards.
Retention
Suggested retention for unsuccessful applications: up to 12 months after last contact, subject to approval and implementation. Active volunteers require a separate retention schedule.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and other applicable rights by email. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Sensitive data
Do not include health data, religious beliefs or other special-category data in the form. Contact the association first for sensitive matters.
Required and optional details
Your name, email address, availability and preferred area are needed to review your volunteering request. All other fields are optional. Without the required details we cannot process your application.
Recipients and technical services
Only people authorised by the association may access applications. Formspree handles form submissions, which may be sent as notifications to the association’s Gmail inbox. Vercel hosts the website and may process technical and security data under its own terms. Applications are not used for marketing.
No automated decisions
The application form does not score or profile applicants and does not make automated decisions about them.
How to exercise your rights
Email amiciditabita@gmail.com about your personal data. You may also request information about recipients and safeguards for international transfers. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority.
